When Jami Earp worked for the Oklahoma Department of Human Services, she witnessed firsthand the importance of public transit to citizens who are trying to improve their lives. “It’s not OK to send people somewhere and they can’t get there because of a lack of public transit,” Jami says. “People fall through the cracks when they lack transportation and they fail when they can’t get somewhere like to a better job.”
