Meet Maribel Perez

When Maribel Perez’s car broke down, the single mother was at her wit’s end as how to get her young daughter to Head Start in the morning while also keeping her job. “I was very worried about how I was going to get her to school so I started asking at her school and they told me about Southwest Transit,” Maribel says. “They pick up my daughter in the morning and bring her home every afternoon and she doesn’t have to miss out on her education.” Now that her daughter has a reliable way to get to and from school, Maribel is able to work and “make money to be able to make ends meet” for her family.
